Samsung U100 Ultra 5.9 Red Mobile Phone
Classified as the thinnest phone in the world, the Samsung U100 Red is a member of the Second Generation of Ultra Edition handsets by Samsung and shaves 1mm of the handset which previously held the record, the Samsung X820.
There are four new handsets which make up the second generation and aside from the Samsung U100, they are the U300, U600 and the U700, measuring 9.6, 10.9 and 12.1mm respectively.
Growing ever smaller and lighter, the Samsung U100 Red Ultra Edition 5.9 boasts a 3.0 mega pixel camera and built-in Video and Music Player with up to 11 hours of playing time, which just goes to prove that size is everything in today's mobile market.
A Tri Band GSM handset with GPRS support, the Samsung SGH-U100 Red has a 1.9 inch TFT colour screen to compliment and 70Mb of internal memory, with connectivity options with include Bluetooth Wireless, USB and EDGE Technology.
An onboard Document Viewer allows for viewing email attachments, whilst the Web Browser gives access to search a wide range of online content available and you've even got a TV Output port.
It doesn't seem possible that that much technology can be squeezed into such a tiny handset as this, but looks can be deceiving.
