Samsung L870 Review
The Samsung L870 is the latest slider from Samsung and offers advanced features whilst the brushed stainless steel finish works perfectly for this phone and enhances the phones professional appearance and stature.
An S60 3rd Edition smartphone with Feature Pack2 the Samsung L870 runs on the latest Symbian 9.3 version and comes preloaded with business card recognition software, task manager checkit, PIM homescreen plug-in, team manager and the Safari (webkit based) internet browser which has been developed by Apple and offers full browing abilities.
Apart from the Apple iPhone the Samsung L870 is only other phone to feature this brower.
Sporting a 3 mega pixel camera with video recording capabilities, music player and stereo FM radio with RDS, the Samsung L870 is well equipped in terms of multimedia functionality.
The internal memory consists of 100MB which can be expanded upon using the microSD card slot available to provide as much as 4GB.
A Tri Band GMS phone, the Samsung L870 supports GPRS and EDGE as well as being UMTS/HSDPA enabled with 3G connectivity and stereo bluetooth.
The 2.4" QVGA display screen is large and more than adequate for its requirements and the actual overall layout of menu's and shortcuts plus the new Thematic user interface makes the Samsung L870 extremely user friendly.
With further features such as the quick office document viewer and push email, it's no wonder that there's a lot to talk about when it comes to the Samsung SGH-L870.
